Canadian Tobacco, Alcohol and Drugs Survey (CTADS) 2013
The Canadian Tobacco, Alcohol and Drugs Survey (CTADS) is a cross-sectional survey providing information on tobacco, alcohol and drug use and related issues. This survey added new content on alcohol and non-prescription drug use to the earlier Canadian Tobacco Use Monitoring Survey (CTUMS, up to 2012).

All Canadians over 15 years of age, with the exception of residents of the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and full-time residents of institutions, were eligible to take part in this survey, frhe primary focus was on 15-24 year olds, so this age [group was oversampled. Questions were asked via (telephone on the frequency and amount of smoking, [prevalence and frequency of alcohol use, the [prevalence and harm of drug usage, and more. This lincludes information on smoking purchasing patterns, smoking cessation, and use of electronic cigarettes. The output produced includes one file for household level information and one for personal level information.
