McMaster Research Data Centre Showcase 2019

This May, the Statistics Canada Research Data Centre (RDC) at McMaster will be hosting its first showcase. Wed, 22 May 22, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Apr 13, 2019

This showcase is divided into 2 parts. The morning session will describe the RDC and its partnership with Data Services in the Mills Library. The morning will also consist of brief presentations on linked administrative data, Longitudinal Administrative Data (LAD, T1FF tax filer data), Longitudinal Immigration Database (IMDB) and the 2014 Ontario Child Health Study (OCHS).

Following lunch (which will be provided), the afternoon session will consist of a series of brief presentations from current RDC researchers highlighting their work.

The event is open to all McMaster students, staff and faculty and will be of interest to those working in the RDC as well as potential researchers who are considering making use of Statistics Canada's micro-data files. RDC staff will be available throughout the day to answer questions on the data files highlighted and others in our collection.
