New data sets at the RDC:

Canadian Social Survey - Quality of Life and Energy Use (CSSW1 HH 2023)

The goal of the Canadian Social Survey (CSS) is to understand social issues more rapidly by conducting surveys on different topics. The CSS will collect information on a variety of social topics such as health, well-being, impacts of COVID-19, activities, time-use, emergency preparedness, and quality of life etc. The CSS will provide data at the national and provincial level (excluding the territories).

From April 21 to June 4, 2023, Statistics Canada conducted the Canadian Social Survey – Quality of Life and Energy Use (CSS-QLEU). This survey was the ninth wave of the CSS. The purpose of CSS-QLEU was to collect information from individuals and families on quality of life, energy use and household energy expenditures. Results from the survey will help decision makers develop programs and policies to better serve Canadians.
