Canadian Data Curation Forum

McMaster University Library and the Canadian Association of Research Libraries’ Portage Network will host a Canadian Data Curation Forum from October 16-18, 2019 at the McMaster Continuing Education Centre at 1 James St. North, Hamilton, ON.

The forum has two events that will be held at the McMaster Continuing Education Centre, 1 James St. North, Hamilton, ON:

  • October 16-17: The Data Curation Training Event includes a series of workshops that aim to build data curation skills.
  • October 17-18: The Data Curation Community-Building Forum will comprise of discussion and plenary sessions aiming to develop a vision for Canada's approach to data curation.

The Canadian Data Curation Forum intends to bring together research data managers, library data specialists, and functional experts from many different organizations. The aim of the forum is to accelerate the development and adoption of data curation1 standards, tools and best practices. Click here for more information and to register for the event!
